This video is taken by an rc-helicopter. take a ride around my neighbourhood……i used a “gsmart mini3″ (also written “mini 3″), it`s a photo-camera with movie cabability in credit-card size. you surely can find a used one at ebay for around 20 bucks. nothing wireless, nothing special. that`s all you need.

Night Flying has come a long way. Back then there were no colored, High intensity LEDs or Light Ropes like we have now. We used Chemical lights and 5 VDC incandescent lights. It was fun then and I still fly today in the dark with my electric Cox Christen Eagle. It is lots of fun and the weather is generally better at night than by day.
Thanks for watching this bit of history.
I wrote all the Night flying articles when we pioneer this sport that was unheard of then, but common now.

I am looking to purchase a remote controlled helicopter for my fiance for xmas. He has never had one and I have never had one, but he wants to start. I am looking for a fairly inexpensive one that I can also rig so he can pick up things with…for example…a beer? lol Any suggestions?
a walkera dragonfly shood be strong enuff 2 pick up a longneck or can(do ur reserch and find 1 with forward flight abilities)
sumthing smaller but cant pick up those items wood be a picco z or havoc heli

Well… from the Co-axial helicopters, you could pretty much go anywhere from there… I just suggest not getting something expensive. I would suggest going with the E-Flite Blade CP. They have the E-Flite Blade CP Pro 2 coming out… I think its already out actually… It runs for $250 USD in America, thats about 165.73 GBP. It is about in your price range.

I use a Futaba radio (with a USB adapter) with Phoenix RC simulator and my pc do not recognize the radio without the program running.
Then I have also got an ESKY trainer radion with a build-in USB cable which the pc recognize like any other USB device.
Depending on your radio it might work with Microsoft flight sim.
