6 Channel Helicopters - Top Reasons You Must Purchase One

 Powered by Max Banner Ads

Have you ever heard of 6 channel remote control helicopters? If so, have you ever used one? It seems these are becoming quite a new pastime. They can be purchased at a local helicopter store or even an electronics store. These powerful helicopters may also be found at trade stores which can be used indoors and out.

These things are very flexible and any flyer will say these 6 channel remote control helicopters are most impressive in the helicopter technology.

What does the 6 channel do? It allows you to control the multiple parts in the copter’s flight patterns. A person can make the helicopter fly side to side, up and down and forward and backward. Some models will tumble circles in the air.

It is not a surprise that these helicopters are much pricier and look more “lifelike” than those that fly straight. People know that helicopters are not flown by a remote but rather people. They also know there are many more buttons on a real helicopter but this one remote controlled helicopter has six channels. It is attempting to reach the actual number seen in a real one although that would be a feat. This helicopter is indeed impressive.

Even with controls over the various flight patterns, people can customize the blade types, the helicopter’s body and have a custom paint job as well done to it.

However, the more you customized your helicopter, the more money you will have to shell out to get it done. Yet, it is a true pleasure to have an original, one of a kind 6 channel remote control helicopter. This is especially true of helicopter fanatics that love to design and create. Sometimes the spirit of collection outweighs what one would actually pay for it.

As bad luck would have it, one man, who is a helicopter flyer enthusiast, recently had a bad incident with his 6 channel remote control helicopter. He had left his 6 channel helicopter out one day, alone and some young school-aged children found it. They took it to the park and carried on byhaving a very good time with it.

The catch of it… those kids are played with it so much but hadn’t taken good care of it. It came back to its original owner in a much harsher condition than it was before it was stolen. The helicopter’s owner figured all the bumps, dents, scratches were always there and he just never noticed them.

When he took the helicopter back to the manufacturer for the warranty, he learned the awful truth. Not only that but the guilty party ended up feeling guilty themselves and told the man what they had done. They apologized and paid him back.

However, this experience left him with a bitter taste for these helicopters although the truth of it is… it’s not the helicopter’s fault. Maybe he will come around because it really was just one bad occurrenc that should not have happened.

These 6 channel Remote Controlled Helicopters are one of the best and controllable helicopters being sold in the world today. No other model helicopter is catching up like a real helicopter.

what hobby should I take interest in? Airsoft guns or Rc Helicopters?

I might like airsoft more, but I don’t really have any friends that play with airsoft. And It would be boring just shooting trees. Also, I’ve always taken an interest in rc helicopters. So which one?

Well both are fun but i think you should go with the RC Helicopters because you can get better at it and fly in more extreme places but air soft guns are fun too but sense you don’t have any friends then it won’t be as fun just shooting at other things but I have a rc helicopter and when you get better at it you can do so much more stuff so it gets better and better. I also have a air soft gun too but i don’t use it as much any more because it gets boring after a while and on helicopters you can upgrade them and make them go faster and higher

Remote controlled helicopter battlefield bad company 2?

Does the small helicopter in the new battlefield only have the laser (rocket) attack? I thought I noticed a couple times that it was using other attacks but havent been able to do so myself. Wasn’t sure if you had to be close or maybe I was just seeing things or it was only on certain maps? Not sure.

The Small Helicopter is a UAV and it only shoots a single guided missiles (rockets) about every 15 secs? The other weapon i think you may be seeing is the machine gun when you use "Alt Wep" to your Vehicle specialization slot.

If you have the limited edition game you get the "Alt wep" Specialization when you begin the game. If you don’t you need to level your vehicle class to the max and get it.

Note: The Machine gun does run out of ammo and the UAV is most of the time located near the attackers base, look for a small white box with a V in it.

Are RC Helicopters like Video Games?

Ok how do you control real RC Helicopters? Is it like a video game? I’ve heard it takes a long time to get used to…

Video games are a decent starting point for learning the basics of helicopters. I love playing with the helicopters in Battlefield games. The video games, however, do make the helicopters a lot easier to control by usually making them a lot more stable, easier to hover, able to maintain altitude without input, and don’t take into account torque effects. With a r/c model the left stick usually controls the throttle/blade pitch and rudder. The right stick is for aircraft pitch and roll. On 3-D birds you can flip a switch and hold the throttle at a certain position then the throttle stick controls only the pitch of the blades. If the blades are setup for negative pitch then you can do inverted tricks. If you are looking into r/c helicopters I would recommend starting with a simple electric bird

This one costs about $160 and comes with everything you need. Stay away from coaxial birds, the ones without rudders, because they usually fly like crap. This one is good for learning the basics of heli flight. What you would want to do is learn hovering first. Keep the tail pointed at you and fly it no higher than your belt. Just practice maintaining a hover. If it gets out of control, land it and start over. Do this for about a week non stop. After you learn hovering, start learning how to move it forward, backwards, stopping, side to side, and spinning it with the rudder. You may even want to try hovering it with the nose pointed at you. Go slow too. Do this for a week non stop. Next start doing figure 8’s well above your head. This will teach you how to turn while banking with the rudder and teach you how to control the birds while it is flying at you too (controls become reversed). Once you’ve mastered basic flying of a heli you can move up to more complicated 3-D birds. I can’t stress this enough, if you’re considering flying r/c helis, to start with a cheap bird. You don’t want to go out and buy a $500 3-D electric or spend $1500 on a gas powered bird and crash it beyond repairs on your first flight.

Using Gas Or Nitro Powered Helicopters - Some Safety Tips

It is imperative when looking at the difference between gas and nitro powered remote control helicopters that you really check them out before committing to one kind.

It must be said that gas powered helicopters are more labor intensive; yet they are rewarding. Both types of helicopters can really showcase their agility levels as well as their flying capabilities - higher and fastest.

With you use gas powered or nitro powered remote control helicopters, fun is bound to be had. Fuel replacement is necessary when they run out. When you set up the helicopters for their flight, be careful to avoid starting a fire, so you can enjoy all your helicopter has to offer.

There was once a helicopter shopper who had a gas or nitro powered remote control purchase in their hands. They had decided that using either one of these was much more fun than using an electric helicopter. Why was this? They found that the remote control did not respond near as well.

It is not known if this customer just felt the way they did about electric helicopters because they found gas or nitro powered remote controls responded better due to this one particular failure or if there was a universal issue with all electric remote controls.

However, when fliers come together and talk about which remote controlled helicopters do better, respond better and get a height range better, most say the gas or nitro powered remote control helicopter do better. Why is this? Even though these gas and nitro powered helicopters are more work than others, their flying abilities remain unparallel to others.

Suppose you are aiming to get into the Guiness Book of World Records for making your helicopter fly backwards further than anyone else who in the world. It has been said that the gas helicopters last much longer than the battery charge in the electric run helicopters. The fuel in the gas and nitro powered helicopters will last longer than the battery of an electric remote controlled helicopter.

Even though the gas and nitro powered Remote Controlled Helicopters work much better than the others, you pay for what you get. Not only are they expensive in their costs, it costs to fill it back up whenever the gas runs out. Don’t forget you will also have to clean the apparatus of the helicopters.

However, the rewards of being challenged are worth the money you will be shelling out in the long run. Be sure that where you buy your gas powered or nitro powered helicopter that your buying from a reputable independent or commercial dealer.

If you are looking into buying a helicopter, research the prices in your area and the surrounding areas so you know for sure that you are getting the best deal available for the money you put down.

Sometimes, it can be annoying not to mention frustrating buying your first gas or nitro powered remote control helicopter and paying more than your neighbor who has a similar product but bought it at a much cheaper price and are happier because they actually had money left over.

The choice is really left up to you… but between electric and gas powered helicopters, hands down helicopters operated on gas seem to work much better.

Radio Controlled Helicopters - Introduction To The RC World…

At what distance can you control Remote-Controlled Helicopters/Planes?

How far away can you be and still control one of them? I am talking about better models, not cheaper toys… Like this baby: http://www.helihobby.com/html/t_rex_600_heli.html

- DSM Radios with FHSS can control from nearly 1,000 feet away.
- DSM Radios with DSSS can only control from about 300 feet away.
+ DSM Radios with FHSS are more likely to stall-out for a few milliseconds because of how they constantly are adapting with frequencies.
+ DSM Radios with DSSS are very silky and smooth with precision. Only signal strength will be your enemy when it comes to who can fly the farthest.
Have fun!
