I am looking for a 3-d radio control helicopter?
Am wondering what the best model RC helicopter is for a beginner? I am looking to buy, but so many models to choose from, which is the best for a beginner? I do know that I want a 3D model. Thanks!!!
Hi! If you are really a beginner and don’t know how to fly a CCPM (Cyclic Collective Pitch Mixing) heli I would suggest get a simulator first. 3D flying is really really hard. You would have to practice everyday for maybe 6 months to a year to get the flight orientation, hand-to-eye coordination and think 3D.
For beginners try to practice hovering on a CCPM heli (not as easy as it looks). Once you can achieve that, then you can start forward flight(again not as easy as it looks).
Anyway straight to the point…
I would suggest a cheap 3d capable heli (altho it is not the best but it is cheap in repairing) which is the ESKY Honey Bee King V2 RTF(ready to fly). This comes complete, transmitter, reciever, servos, gyro, motor, battery, charger and the heli itself.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE!!!
Before you fly the heli, there are some things you need to calibrate/setup. You can’t just fly it right out of the box!!! No-no! (you will definitely crash and break the main blades or many more!!!)

There are like 7 steps to do before flying. Look at those videos to learn.
After all that go to this website to start learning: http://www.dream-models.com/eco/flying-index.html
After all that is done, you may attempt your maiden flight ![]()
GOOD LUCK!!! And happy flying!

As i know, this model is very hot trend
Spinmaster Air Hogs Havoc Heli
