Are remote control helicopters dangerous?

Depends on the chopper. If its anything more than an entry level RC chopper then yes, it could chop your finger off. They are very powerful and should only be handled my mature people who exercise care.

    Anything that you can buy in a hobby shop is harmless. Yes, you should keep your fingers away from the propeller but unless Tim the Toolman has got his hands on it you’re safe.
