    Jacksonhammy,

Is all about how you go down…. i usually try to put enough air under my rotor. I still don’t understand the point of your reply?

    all very flash and …
all very flash and pricy, but remember that what goes up……must come down, perhaps down in an informal fasion such as up side down or in a tree.

    I see. I was …
I see. I was thinking more along the lines of the rc jets with turbines. The response for those due to input is certainly delayed. Thanks!

Is not an issue on …
Is not an issue on helis…. my turbine is always at 100% and then you just control the pitch on the main rotor head…. the turbine only goes to idle on the ground.

    the response time …
the response time for a jet engine and its input is quite dramatic from what i’ve learned. tedious this must certainly be with an rc heli with a turbine engine. please advise.

    Thank you so much …
Thank you so much for such nice comments! this is an exact replica of the one that flies on the Italian alpes by Air Walser.
It took 1.5 years to complete this model and it flies like a dream. If you come one day to Northern California around San Fransisco contact me and you can come and see the Lama in action. A good friend of mine is building the Alouette III some scale and next time I see him we will get both birds in the air at the same time.

Amazing model! Two of my friends (helicopter pilots as well) couldn’t stop watching this video over and over. One of them flew the Lama for years, in Switzerland (at Air Glaciers) before moving to Canada. Hope to see this wonderful machine one day!
